If OBS crashes at the end of a session the entire file is going to be unrecoverable. Im using the latest version of OBS on an iMac 2019, with a BMD Ultrastudio Mini-Recorder using V. This device allows us to put more of the encoding chain into software, giving us a choice of encoders and providers.
